Grandam's Kitchen

Giving Back

How Grandma's kitchen Gave Back at Oprah's The Big Give Premiere Party
At the Premiere Party for Oprah's The Big Give hosted by Malaak Compton-Rock, a judge on that show, and Erica Reid in her NYC apartment, all attendees were asked to come to the party with a pair of children's shoes and a pair of adult shoes to donate to an area homeless shelter. Instead of shoes to wear, we wanted to donate shoes to eat.

As quoted by Malaak on her website, angelrockproject.com, "Grandma's Kitchen, a wonderful bakery in Northvale, New Jersey donated 25 individual shoe shaped cakes that were so cute and scrumptious!"

Jen Sarno Charity Begins at Grandma's Kitchen's Pancake Breakfast
On Sunday January 13th, 2008 we hosted a pancake breakfast that included breakfast and a cake decorating project.

All proceeds went to the following charities: Food Allergy Initiative, St. Jude, Have a Heart, and Shelter our Sisters. At right, see volunteer Jen Sarno serve up some syrup to a participant.

Cupcakes, Cupcakes, Cupcakes
Order the best tasting cupcakes in the tri-state area and by doing so, Grandma's Kitchen will donate 25 cents for every cupcake (over $1,000 per year!) we sell to the victims in New Orleans for the Make it Right Foundation. Help us help them build a new New Orleans. We ship through out the U.S.

Food Allergy Initiative
Every year for the Food Allergy Initiative's Spring Gala, Grandma's Kitchen donates 700 cupcakes. This cause fits perfectly with our mission as all of our cakes and cupcakes are peanut and tree nut allergy free.

We are a peanut and tree nut allergy-free facility.
Also available upon request we can be gluten-free, milk-free and egg-free.
